Das ist aber traurig.

Aber wahr.

Ich weiß nicht, von wem das ist, aber daran musste ich neulich wieder denken, weil es so wahr ist:

"Telling someone with anxiety to calm down is like telling someone with epilepsy to just stop having a seizure."

^ I kept hearing people telling me I will end a bad way.
Now I would tell them it won't matter how I die but how I live.

I also tried to calm down. For them, not for me.
When I heard myself I realized calming down isn't always necessary.
Sometimes it's good to accept anxiety and "run out" of it like of anything.
It might be human body is more designed to fight worries than to worry.

If you shut up truth and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way.

I bet a Chinese would compare this to a bamboo seed.
You bury it under the pavement but it still breaks through concrete tiles when growing.

Truth always finds its way out. Maybe you can successfully keep it from getting out into the sunlight (you just need to be rich enough, e.g. to build a skyscraper on the spot where the seed is buried...) but it will emerge somehow and destroy your life in other ways.

Getting quite philosophical here, I see...

Personally, I think rampantly overgrown ruins are somewhat idyllic, and that they can be really beautiful.
On the other hand, if this 'truth' is so powerful a seed, why not take it and cultivate it, like in a garden?
Most people find gardens to be quite enjoyable places.

Zitat:On the other hand, if this 'truth' is so powerful a seed,

Money is more powerful. People love it waaaaay more to have power, millions on their bank account, thousands of faceless admirers and their face on billboards and coffee mugs than sitting in a beautiful garden with children around them, with peace in their heart and their dignity still intact.

And that's the truth.

I don't remember if I showed it here or in Israelprojekt thread, but just in case, here's my "garden":

[Bild: mess_zpslnjfyh4z.jpg]

It lives its own life, we don't disturb each other. I prefer anything wild over anything clean and tidy.
I saw too many gardens which are "tamed nature", to the extent so artificial it shouldn't happen.
A family session in such garden would be a peace-disrupting nightmare and I experienced such.
About money and power, well I cannot tell. I have neither, I don't feel I need any.
