Sounds like they believe in their lies.

They believe people are stupid and gullible and buy their lies, including me.
And the people who see through the lies get insulted, while the gullible people get cookies, even if they REALLY behave invasive and problematic.
I'm done getting angry about this. Things happen either way. Some people just insist on digging themselves holes.

But it was my mistake that I accepted this treatment for so long.
I should surround myself with people who don't doubt my worth, value my opinion and don't lie shamelessly to my face like I was gullible idiot, and treat me like an option for some years later, a risk and a dirty secret.
