There seems to be nothing remaining to find,
though something more casts shadows inside her mind.
She realized for all those years her missions last,
so far she has never focused on her past.
From many artifacts filling her Trophy Room,
none except one caused Lara's personal doom.
Her mother's fate was unsure: where the truth lays?
It might do among certain ornate stone dais.
The task is so hard she needs to hire Zip,
for her to invent some new stuff to equip.
It's not enough - Alister comes into plot,
and also new moves Lara learns a whole lot.
The last is precautionary: what a shame!
Who would have thought they would be useless ingame?

Anyway: the plot starts, Bolivia as first,
and Rutland shows up, filled with artifact thirst.
At stone circle, battle occurs with his foes.
Amanda sent him. It's not what Lara knows.
After she gets rid of every antifan,
It becomes sure there's more stone circles than one.

It takes her through Peru to figure out that
her former friend, once lost, isn't completely dead.
Anaya (her other friend) helps her in task,
however she won't descend into cave dusk.
"What kind of friend are You?" - a player might think.
Found tomb is related to Arthur. The King.
Viracocha, Merlin, those two are the same,
or joined with same story of worldwide fame.
Miss croft finds a ritual copy of sword.

For part of original, she must have a word
with Yakuza boss, roaming in Japan.
From him, she obtains what belonged to shaman.
It's obvious England is a must to explore,
But she can't go there yet, until she finds more.

She knows Rutland has one, she wants him alive
or dead. Meanwhile she performs a swan dive
worth mentioning, the only in whole storyline.
The water is gone, so she enters the shrine.
Inside, Rutland appears to be a nice guy,
telling her what Amanda seeks for. Not why.
He also says about necessity to
obtain a key joining sword parts like a glue.
Where that item was, her father might have known...
so Amanda's thugs are robbing Lara's home!

A little cleanup, and now Kazakhstan part,
which Soviets had used to tear their base apart.
Tesla was genious, unlike KGB...
Isn't it just like in "Transformers" movie?
While experimenting in electric field.
they furthermore dug out a medieval shield.
It contains a map of location unknown.
Alister reads it while Lara's on her own,
till meeting Amanda, appearing quite lame
compared to a demon she managed to tame.
It's what Lara fights, followed by her winning.
The map tells the obvious from very beginning.

Thus Britain is next, and thy eyes can behold
inside a museum, a real stronghold!
A forklift jump is done... (Why no-one so far
customized such object to replace with jeep car?)
A fragile egg breaks, allowing her to take
Excalibur piece... WATCH OUT FOR THE SNAKE!!!
Defeated the monstrous creation of hell,

our girl heads to Tibet, where her plane once fell.
The key is still there, on cockpit of the wreck.
We're doomed - a door slams right behind Lara's neck.
The sword is put together - can it work fine
with dais located in a familiar shrine?
One needs to plug it, like a bottle with cork.
But the stone is broken, so... Naaah, it wont work.
At least she can leave with a nice SFX...

The only hope: remnants in Bolivia complex!
Of course, there's Amanda, with Rutland - unwise
that Lara won't commite the same mistake twice.
She swings her sword like hell, revealing her wrath,
destroying all poor goons standing on her path.
All pillars, stone structures shattered into trash,
a demon Amanda soon follows this smash,
everything blows up, with Rutland's neck cracked...
How can it be the crucial dais is intact???
The looking glass vision fits memory revive -
- now Lara knows her mother is still alive.
Right after the timeline gets seriously bent,
the game comes to abrupt, unexpected end.

For Underworld, my experience isn't nice.
I bought it in Bethlehem, for much lowered price.
Did it only to realize "Oh, my God!
Pirated so good that I thought it is not!
Well, screw it! At least it will give me some fun."
I brought it back home, and what? WHAT? It won't run.
Can't have a clue what might have happened in there,
as soon as I can - I'll find out, I swear.
What is Underworld? I once wanted to know.
But apparently, my PC is too slow.
I need an OS of twice ascended might,
cos now I can't even play Guardian of Light.
So far, the DVD covered in thick dust
waits on the shelf until I buy something fast.
It's become another artifact of fail.
Eternal - as such ones will always prevail.
